Ecowitt API
I notice my recent Ecowitt Witboy installation is asking for an Application Key and an API. In my ignorance I do not know how to find this and complete the installation. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Ecowitt API
Have you looked at the CumulusMX Dashboard under the menu items ‘Station Settings’ then ‘Ecowitt Local API Settings’? Have you got Enable Auto Discovery ticked? Not sure how you have set your station up so these may need looking at. Also, back to the very basics, is the GW2000 connected to your wifi?
If you need to use the Ecowitt Cloud API, you’ll need to get the keys for this from Ecowitt, the menu item explains this.
Hope this helps.

Re: Ecowitt API
this only needed when you choose the Ecowitt cloud backfilling option or the Ecowitt cloud as data source.Albert Dulfer wrote: ↑Tue 09 Apr 2024 11:52 pm I notice my recent Ecowitt Witboy installation is asking for an Application Key and an API. If the latter, why don't you use the local Ecowitt API as driver/interface for/between your CMX and your GW2000 (or http(Ecowitt) if you have the HP2560 console). Then you have your data locally and do not depend on the cloud data (except for backfilling).
