Got an opportunity to enable the latest Beta and my "OS Cold Climate" sensor is showing as an extra temp sensor.

I have a WMR968. I have two THGR968s (temp/RH) that don't work. I have nothing on channel 0 or the original channel or whatever you call it. I am using a THGR122NX on channel 1. Can Cumulus work with that and send the channel 1 data to cwop/wu/weatherforyou/etc. ?

Thanks,

Greg

All it will do at the moment with the extra channel data is display it. That will probably change, but I don't know when.

Steve,
Any updates on the channel 1 swap for OS wmr 968 that Slow Modem posted. I just got a new station, and want to try out Cumulus for my 968. But like Greg, my station is without a thgr968 (channel zero) so I use channel one as Outdoor.

Thanks
Andrew

Edit cumulus.ini, and in the [Station] section, add a line:

WMR928TempChannel=1

and Cumulus will then use the sensor on channel 1 as the 'main' sensor.

Not in this version of Cumulus.

Well... actually...

If it was limited to:

  • logging turned on via ini-file setting
  • logging interval same as existing interval
  • separate additional log files called e.g. jan01logextra.txt
  • just logging temp/dp/hum for each extra sensor (zero if not present)
  • no additional processing done, e.g. graphs, high/low etc

... then I could probably do that.

That would be great, but dont go to all that trouble for me only

Ive only got the 2 extra sensors at work because of the heating problems we have here, one side of the building is like ice and the other a sauna and Im trying to prove that if we could get it somewhere in the middle it would be better

Thanks

Ronnie
