WH1080 wind direction monitor

Post by amacqueen »

Hi - I am new to all this, and bought the WH 1080 model.
All seems to work well, but living in a very sheltered wooded area, the wind direction vane is somewhat erratic - is there a way of dampening this, and if so does it corrupt the data.
So far I have tried blue tack, but not with any noticeable effect.

Hi Alasdair and welcome to the forum.

There are many topics regarding this subject. Do a quick search on "Wind vane mod" "tail mod" "wind mod" etc
