Are you saying that data stops being transferred from the station to Cumulus, or from Cumulus to your web site?

I can't see any problems with either of those, in any case, in those logs.

I've managed to find the graphs on your web site, and I can see that your data 'flat-lined'. So it's nothing to do with ftp. And yes, I can see that the last data received from your station was at 04:40:

1120.21868 : 04:40:11 FFFF0E0612

Then nothing else was sent by the station after that. Could you zip up the diags folder and attach it, please?

I assume you had to restart Cumulus to get it updating again?

I can't see anything in there that would account for it. It appears that your station just stops sending data. How often does it happen?

well I think it has happened 5-8 times in the last couple og month, I don´t know if it is possible to get hold of the stations software or firmware and reinstall it.

I wouldn't have thought so. It may be a serial port problem. It may be a problem with the serial port component in version 1.9.1 of Cumulus. I could try leaving it running with my WMR928 (I only have a working console and indoor sensor) but I'd have to try to find a PC to leave it running on. It would be helpful if other people with same station who have been running 1.9.1 for a long time could say whether they are having problems (or not!).

I have not told you ,that I use a Lindy 42855 seriel to usb adapter(http://www.lindy.co.uk/usb-to-serial-ad ... 42855.html) , because my Asus eee 1032 only has usb ports. although it has run without problems since I started with Cumulus back in 2009-2010 it maybee could be here the problem lies

Ah. Yes, almost certainly. It could be something as simple as a slight difference in timing in 1.9.1 which exposes the problem, or just that your adapter has developed a fault. When did you start using 1.9.1 and when did the problem start?

well I have updated to almost every build in the line, and as Cumulus can run for weeks without errors, it could very well have started
shortly after I updated to the first 1.9.1 , but I would think, that first time was around build 960+++

I've been running Cumulus 1.9.1 in various builds and never had a problem with the logging. I am using the serial port though. I used to get Microsoft updates downloading at 04:00 about once a month which re-booted the laptop. I didn't have Cumulus properly setup in the startup folder so lost a few hours logging before I got up and re-started Cumulus by hand.

Thanks; I think the problem must be related to the USB adapter or its driver.
