I'm trying to find a way to add daily/monthly graphs of solar radiation. I can see the parameter is recorded in the <Month><Year>log.txt file so I could possibly extract it and generate the graphs but it's a lot of work and I'd like to check I'm not missing some easier way. Am I?
Also looking at my Jul11log.txt file (and today is Jul12) I see an extra parameter, not listed in your Data Log Files Description, after the 3.5 solar hours number, and added to the end of each entry. But it disappears after the 16:00 entry. The following four entries show the change point. I'd like to understand what's happening here as I may end up using this log file.
Many thanks,
Geo Meadows

Re: Adding Solar Radiation Graphs
You could use 'Select-A-Graph' - but there's no way to do that automatically, I'm afraid.geowarm wrote:I'm trying to find a way to add daily/monthly graphs of solar radiation. It's the 'current' wind direction, which I added in build 1003 (it's documented in the help for that build). Your web site says you are currently running build 1002, so I assume that just after 16:00 you closed down build 1003 and started running build 1002, which is why that item is no longer being logged. Also looking at my Jul11log.txt file (and today is Jul12) I see an extra parameter, not listed in your Data Log Files Description, after the 3.5 solar hours number, and added to the end of each entry. Re: Adding Solar Radiation Graphs
Different build levels issue - hadn't noticed that, thanks. Will sort out.
Problem arose because I keep swapping between my desktop (for mods) and laptop (which runs the station 24/7) copying across the .dat directory and ini files etc each time. I obviously managed to download different builds to each machine.
