This morning I started my PC after it was off overnight and Cumulus 1.9.2 presented the following error.

30/08/2011 08:33:58 : Check station clock, date of last archive entry is quite old

I have restarted Cumulus a couple of times and get the error each time.

I then updated my v1.9.2 to build 1009 but still get the same error.

The PC clock is spot on and the station clock is within a minute - actually it is slightly fast (so much for sync with a time signal).

I have a Windows 7 PC. My station is a WS2300.

I've attached the diags and data folder. I'm sure there must be a manual tweak that will convince the program that everything is back to normal ;)

Your station's clock is apparently in the year 2000:

30/08/2011 08:42:58.574 : Date and time of latest archive entry:
30/08/2011 08:42:58.574 : hr=8 min=17 d=30 m=8 y=2000
30/08/2011 08:42:58.577 : Check station clock, date of last archive entry is quite old

There's an option in 1.9.2. to ignore the WS2300 station clock.

You're using COM port 11 - is that a real COM port or a serial/USB adapter? I notice that you are getting a lot of data errors.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll manually reset the clock. But no doubt the time signal will reset it at some point ;)

Yes, the WS2300 connects via a serial/USB adapter. I'm considering a new station as I type.

I'm afraid I don't support that combination.
