Had more outages. But did not get much response to emails, and I can't use live chat when I can't access the Glovine site.

However, had more problems tonight and noticed my IP address has changed each time I have problems with Glovine access. I changed my DNS server address on my PCs to my ISP DNS and all seems to be working ok. Anyone know if this is the fix?

I use a netbook as a logger using WIN7 to run Cumulus and Solar inverter data to upload to my website and an iMac for general use. I probably need to do the router but need No1 son to come home for the access into that.

Would have liked to have kept all my automatic settings.

Hmmm, Glovine free websites unavailable again (been down for a few days) and previous to that, many FTP issues over the last two weeks. Live chat ask me to send an email, but in reality, I think I need to look elsewhere.
Any suggestions for free hosting?

I have had a few issues recently where no PHP was being processed on my site. I use the GloVine 'live chat' facility and have never had any problems with it (I have it bookmarked). Michael or Jordan have responded quickly (at some ridiculous hours sometimes) and have usually fixed the problem in quick order.

Thanks WestOz and Captzero. Are you both using the 'free' Glovine hosting solution or the paid solution?

I have their 'Personal Package'. Costs $19 a year. Pretty good value I reckon. More than enough for my site. The package is here. http://www.glovine.com.au/page/webhosting

Thanks for your help guys. Glovine have responded indicating that my Ip was blocked. They have reset but I still can't access.
Could anyone see if they can visit my site ok here http://menstonweather.freeglo.net/ and let me know if it is ok? It will be out of date because I haven't had any FTP uploads since last week though.

Cheers

Thanks for checking Duke. It has now been resolved.
Hats off to Glovine, they have investigated further and a prompt solution found. Public thanks to Ryan at Glovine.
