I have been searching for the answer for a while now but cant seem to find what I am looking for.

Q -Cumulus automatically tweets certain parameters
A Yes - (accordind to the wiki) http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Twitter.txt
Q. If you want to add or alter these parameters you have to "create" your own txt and upload ? If that is the case what is Cumulus uploading before you create your own ? Could a default twitter.txt be already be within Cumulus so you can add or edit yourself. Play around with it and see what results it produces on twitter.

I guess I am looking for an easy way to change what is tweeted without creating my own txt file, searching for tags and making a right mess of it.

Hope this makes sense
tks

Paul, the twitter.txt file contents equivalent to the default tweet are given at the bottom of the wiki page I linked to.

OK. Any plans to have an edit function on the station setup in order to change the tags ?

I don't know how that would work, there are nearly 500 web tags now. The idea is that if you want to customise it, you edit it in a text editor and choose the tags and the fixed text that you want, just like the way you would create your own customised web pages.
