My Realtime.txt interval is set to 15 seconds and i can confirm that every 15 seconds it is being updated within my computer

i have all 3 realtime setting boxes ticked and the realtime.txt will not update at all??? http://www.ballinanswweather.com/realtime.txt

CURRENTLY

25/11/11 """23:00:51""" 23.1 92 21.7 7.2 4.8 16 0.0 0.0 1016.43 NNE 2 km/h C hPa mm 91.4 -0.01 64.0 1594.4 9.2 25.2 81 23.1 +0.1 25.8 15:55 22.1 09:00 11.3 15:56 25.7 16:38 1018.36 09:42 1015.04 17:33 1.9.2 1018 12.9 23.1 32.0 0 0.00 0 37 0.0 5 0 0 NE 561 ft 26.3 0.0 0 0

its been 23.00.51 for a while now.. what is the problem really what? Wunderground manages 3 seconds but realtime cant manage even 1 minute ??

You need to look at the ftp log. What else are you uploading at the realtime interval? It may be that there it takes 1 minute to upload everything you have asked it to.

I can not see from that if you have any additional files being uploaded, it is on the other tab.

You have your normal update set to 1 minute, are you sure that it is possible to upload all the normal files in 1 minute (or rather 15 seconds if you do not want your realtime.txt being interrupted)?

Why do you have that set to such a short interval, the normal pages and graphs are not 'realtime' information, they only need uploading periodically, every 10 minutes at the most frequent, probably 15-30 minutes is sufficient.

If the normal upload takes 50 seconds, then the realtime upload will be queued up behind the 'normal' update and a will only take place every minute.

Not sure why you have got realtime.txt listed in the files tab with process, realtime and ftp ticked? It is not needed as you already have realtime.txt ticked on the sites/options tab.

It may be causing a conflict, it may be working intermittently, Steve perhaps can clarify.

That's because you haven't configured the ftp directory correctly.

What do you mean? it goes in the home dir so it should be

realtime.txt and thats confirmed cause its on my website its just that when i untick it in the files tab my realtime.txt wont upload at all.

Also i had my realtime data successfully upload per 5 seconds but now it is 10 seconds im not sure why.
