Hi!

Someone find a bug in the "Color Changer" utility for Sunny Weather Template, on Météo du Québec.
This facility was made... in a rush to help changing those 42 colors of Cumulus.

Badely, it can't handle all kind of possible "errors". This results as a possible mix in Cumulus.ini owner.
For that reason, utility has already been "disconnected" for a while. Have to add some security enhancement.

That problem don't affect existing installations, only "colorize" process, in rare case has been possibly faulty.

I'm working on that. :bash:

Jacques

Jacques, I don't think it's a good idea to have people uploading their cumulus.ini files, given that they contain passwords etc. There is scope for all kinds of problems, as has already been demonstrated. Can you not just provide the relevant section for manually editing into the file?

Hi Steve,

Sunny Weather Template was planned with "newbies" in mind, then "manual edition" was out of objective.
But, I saw that the module facilitate colorize process, but produce some kind of 'weirderies"

Then, I have to go back to work Table! :bash:

Hi all. Newbie here. Just setup my weather station this week and downloaded Cumulus. I added The Sunny Weather template and it looks great, but I cannot get my gauges page to work. Worked fine before changing to Sunny Weather. I've tried reloading the default template and laying the Sunny Weather template over it, but still nothing. I'm sure it's a dumb error, but I need help. My weather page is at: http://kristler.home.comcast.net/~krist ... /index.htm

Thanks!

Hi Kistler,

You have only forgot to copy files from Cumulus web standard pages.
(I think I'll chage template to include missing files. Template was build as an update for standard template)

On your Pc take all CONTENT of C:\Cumulus\webfiles folder and copy it to the folder weather of your site.
Then, after Cumulus update all will be ok!

Hi,

I have updated Sunny Weather template to correct some mistakes and enhance it a few!

- Now all the files are included in archive to be a complete install (no more a Cumulus standard template update)
- Replace and in index.htm to correct misalignment.
- Align column in Records.htm page to avoid dates to be extend in 2 rows.
- Added system_davis.htm page to have all davis infos in system page
- System page has now a "hidden link" on each page. Only click on the Sun (or moon) in the header.
- For optional system page:
To work, the link need that system_all.htm or system_davis.htm pages to be renamed to system.htm

Demo page for Davis available here : http://www.meteoduquebec.com/TemplateQC ... _davis.htm
Demo template has been completely renew on the link.

That version is HTML original updated version.
Available in first message of topic.

Jacques

Hi,

I've posted a new uodate to correct some mistakes :

system_all.htm and system_davis.htm
- Display wrong date for "Online since"

system_davis.htm
- Remove "communication error" who refer to FineOffset <#SensorContactLost> Webtag

Thanks to Beau for it's "validation".

Jacques,
First, I Love your templates.

I've had a play with them and converted to php, ajax, and a drop-down menu, among other things..

As yet, still a work in progress, but here's the result: http://weather.gktnet.com/newpages/gauges.php

Cheers,

Hello everybody!

I am a weather newbie. I just got a used wireless LaCrosse WS-2315 and got it set up a few days ago. I have got it feeding info to wunderground and PWS. I was working on my own site using Cumulus 1.9.2. Then I started reading the forums and came across this thread.

Wow! Great job JacquesD Sunny Weather is looking good. I am using the html version and I have hit a few snags. The first was with the forecast image. It was just the red 'X' at first. But using properties I saw that it was calling for image -26.png. Mmm... should be calling for 26.png. No matter I just renamed the image to -26.png and uploaded it. Then I saw that image was stormy with lightning. Mmmm... nothing but Sunny skies here with more sunshine predicted. So I went and looked at the image files and made copies of them all. Then picked image 2.png and renamed it to -26.png. The image now matches the forcast. I will continue doing that as the days go on and the forcast changes. So that problem if I stay on it will iron itself out.

My BIG problems are how the WebCam, About, and system page is displaying. It is broken, all white background, with everything just all over the place. To me it looks like it is not using the css file. But I see the css file being called for in the html. This has got me banging my head. I have not modified those pages. Can someone let me know what is wrong so I can fix it?
Thank You.

My next is a stupid question. Please no one throw any rotten tomatos at me. LOL!

In the Cumulus program Configuration>Internet>Files area this is my set up.

C:\Cumulus\web\gaugesT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/gauges.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\indexT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/index.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\recordT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/record.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\thismonthT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/thismonth.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\thisyearT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/thisyear.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\todayT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/today.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\trendsT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/trends.htm
C:\Cumulus\web\yesterdayT.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/yesterday.htm
C:\Cumulus\realtime.txt > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/realtime.txt
C:\Cumulus\web\system.htm > http://robertyelverton.info/weather/system.htm

I have got all checked to Process, Reat Time, and FTP
Is that correct?

But my problem is that I am out of lines in the Cumulus Internet Files section. There is no room to add the WebCam or the About/infos pages.

How can I do that?

Thank You.
