Had a fantastic storm. 100's of CG (Cloud to Ground) strikes, taking out power. Just before the storm hit we had temp of 36.2, Aparent temp of 43.6 (HI 53.2C) with a Dew Point of 28.7.

Very good quality. Are we also meant to see the lightning?

You won't see lightning on a day time timelapse. But trust me, there were lots. The night time one's are fantastic though. I'll find one for you.

Great timelapse, and that website is good for showing timelapses for all over the place.

Yes! Just this month they put up their 50th camera! It's up here in the NT in Maningrida. (It's at the top of Australia for those that don't know). All the camera's are SLR type with a dedicated computer to run them.
They are mostly in Quensland (Brisbane area), Darwin (and Manigrida, East of here) and a fantastic one in Broome, WA (North West Coast).

Hi

I enjoy that website and very interesting what happens with the different clouds we get and the storms when they come. btw that storm would have been a big one with that hot and humid weather. That would have make it cooler. I don't know how people can live in a tropical climate, maybe it just that I not use to it, the heat here gets bad enough. At least you see plenty of storms (that's not to say that we don't get storms). Enjoy the weather.
