Hi all,

I have a Oregon Scientific WMR88 weather station and I am a very happy Cumulus user.
However I have a necessity: I have got a greenhouse and a temperature extrasensor inside it. I need to log the data of this sensor in order to compare the inside and outside temperature of my greenhouse.
Is it possibile with cumulus?

Thanks (even from my flowers!)

Fenicius.

Sorry; Cumulus will only display extra sensor data, it doesn't currently log it.

Thank you for the answear.
I have two proposals to ask you:
Can I log the extra sensor instead of the sensor for the inside temperature? I don't need the log of the insede temperature.
If the previous proposal is not possibile, do you know any software I can use with cumulus running only to log temperature and relative humidity of both my sensors?

Thank you very much.

No, sorry. Logging of extra sensor data is on the list for a future version of Cumulus, along with hundreds of other possible enhancements.

I don't know about any other software. Perhaps you would be better using something other than Cumulus, like Weather Display, if this feature is a necessity for you.

I use Cumulus to log extra sensors, using the external programs entry and a command file. Can't remember exactly how, I'm not at my server at the moment, but I'll post details when I return home.

This emulates FreeWX behaviour where the additional sensors are logged to a separate file. Once a month I have to copy the contents to a monthly file and clear the log. I might use SyncBack to automate this one day, but it is not time critical, if you let it run for several months before dealing with it as the file is small.

Internet Settings/Files
Local File: D:\Program Files\Cumulus\extra\ASlog.txt
Remote: D:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\ASlog.dat
Process: Yes

Internet Settings/Sites/Options
External Program: D:\Program Files\Cumulus\extra\ASlog.cmd

D:\Program Files\Cumulus\extra\ASlog.txt is:
<#date format="DD/MM/YY">,<#hour>:<#minute>,<#ExtraTemp1>,<#ExtraDP1>,<#ExtraHum1>,<#ExtraTemp2>,<#ExtraDP2>,<#ExtraHum2>,<#ExtraTemp3>,<#ExtraDP3>,<#ExtraHum3>

D:\Program Files\Cumulus\extra\ASlog.cmd is
COPY /B "D:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\ASlog.csv"+"D:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\ASlog.dat" "D:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\ASlog.csv"

Create an empty file D:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\ASlog.csv before you start

Change directory names above as necessary.

Unfortunately that will only work for a WMR928; there are currently no web tags for extra sensors for other stations.
