I have a Zephyr Instruments PWS-1000TD. I have not had any problems with the exception of feeding humidity to APRS and have no humidity reading.

After the weather dropped to -23F....APRS/CWOP websites show 0F when the actual temp is -14F. Any reason why APRS/CWOP temp data is incorrect, but data feed to WeatherUnderground work and feeds to internet webpage are correct?

What's your CWOP ID, please? Do you use Cumulus to upload directly to CWOP, or via a wxnow.txt file? I fixed a negative temperature bug in the CWOP data some time ago; it could be that I didn't do the same fix for wxnow.txt and need to do so.

CWOP ID is AT844 and being feed to cwop.aprs.net, I have selected via Cumulus Internet Settings a check mark enabling "APRS/CWOP Settings". I'm wondering if it was just an isolated incident with the internet. I have the information being properly displayed online.

This site shows the APRS data as correct:
http://aprs.fi/weather/a/W7GMC

I'll double check to ensure that APRSIS32 is not interfereing with Cumulus. Love the App!!!

Thanks You Steve

I've looked at your raw data and it's not coming (directly) from Cumulus: http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/rawwx.cgi?call=W7GMC

W7GMC>APWW08,TCPIP*,qAC,Firenet:/084100h4732.43N/11117.67W_034/003g004t-008r000p000P000h69b10067
W7GMC>APWW08,TCPIP*,qAC,Firenet:/085000h4732.43N/11117.67W_034/003g004t-007r000p000P000h69b10067
W7GMC>APWW08,TCPIP*,qAC,Firenet:/090000h4732.43N/11117.67W_034/003g005t-007r000p000P000h69b10065

So if the actual readings are coming from Cumulus, you must be using the wxnow.txt file and some other software is doing the upload? If you can confirm that's the case, I'll look at the wxnow.txt generation code in Cumulus to see if it has a bug with negative temperatures.

WX.NOW data. Cumulus is currently showing -5.2.

Cumulus seemes to be working and the issue may not be in your application. I believe APRSIS32 application is having problems with handling negative temps, along with how Mesowest handling the data?

http://raws.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/roman/ ... ?stn=AT844

APRS.FI has no issue with showing correct tempature for station id: W7GMC http://aprs.fi/weather/a/W7GMC

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I think this is the bug, it should be "t-05", only 3 characters are allowed for temperature; I'll fix it.

Steve, thanks for the rapid response. Your app is great....been running it for several months. The calibration really helps with the Zephyr weather station error's and I usually get some good marks from gladystone on analysis reports.
