WRM 100 Non reading issue

Post by pistolpetes11 »

For some reason the software is not taking a reading from my weather station .

I did notice last night that my dew point was a 2.0c when the temp was at 1.2c

This did not seem correct , but it went back to normal the next time I logged in to check it.

Anyway all my readings tonight are at 0.0 , I noticed an error on the log for a file named Jan12 line 6001 and i deleted the file,

What the quickest and best way to solve this ?

Cheers for any help , much appreciated .

In doing that, you have deleted all of your data for January.

If you stop Cumulus and edit cumulus.ini, and in the [Station] section add a line

logging=1

then start Cumulus and let it run for a few minutes. Then find the debug.log file and attach it here, and also zip up the diags folder and attach that.

Your station appears not to be sending any data. Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

Your station is being detected but apparently isn't sending any data - you could try resetting it.

It seems that you've installed Cumulus to your desktop - it's rather unusual to install software there. I'm not sure whether this will cause any problems (it won't be causing the problem where your station isn't sending data) but it does look like Cumulus was unable to write to some log files at one point.

Its reading on the control unit , where is the best place for me to install it on the computer , i was having issues finding the log files which is why i installed it there.

Il power the station receiver down and see if that helps , as i said is working away yesterday so i dont know whats gone wrong

The default installation location is C:\Cumulus and that's probably the best place for it.
