I am trying to work out what my extreme pressure settings should be in the Cumulus-Station set up page, should they be my highest & lowest readings for the year plus a little bit.

I think that "Beetlejuice" may be the guru in this matter so if you do happen to read this Beetlejuice any information will be really appreciated

Simple answer is ... "If it ain't broke ...."

You should only need to modify the range if you live somewhere 'exotic', or you have a weird micro climate, or ..... climate change, we're all going to die

Lowering the upper limit will 'increase' fine weather.
Raising the upper limit will 'favour' change toward fine.

Raising the lower limit will 'increase' rainy weather.
Lowering the lower limit will 'favour' change toward rainy.

BUT ... all your weather decisions take place withing the 'range' you have stated.

The range is the 'default' for temperate zones - ie, the weather is cyclonically driven.
It all gets a bit messy for polar or tropics forecasting where the 'range' should be increased / reduced and wind direction pretty much ignored

Many thanks Beetlejuice, I will take your advice then and leave well alone, I only thought that they may have had to been set up initially.

Thanks again :D
