I have been running Cumulus on a Windows 2003 server, and uploading to my ISP web server. I now want to run the web pages on the same server as Cumulus. Do I still want to use FTP? I cannot get it to connect. What are recommended settings?

You can still use ftp if you want - are you running an ftp server? If so, only you can say what the settings are, as it's your ftp server.

But you could simply copy the files to the required place on the web server. Disable ftp by removing the host name from the internet settings, then on the 'files' tab, list all of the Cumulus 'template' files from the Cumulus web folder (the ones with a 'T' in them) down the left hand side, and on the right hand side put the full path and file name to where the files need to be on your web server - the file names are the same but without the 'T'. Make sure the 'process' box is ticked for each one, but none of the other boxes.

If you're using realtime.txt, untick 'Enable realtime FTP' on the internet settings, and add the realtime.txt file to the files tab, using the Cumulus path on the left and your web server path on the right. Tick the 'realtime' box for this one and untick all the others.

Put the path to your images folder in the 'copy images to folder' box. Don't tick 'realtime'.

I've assumed you're using the 'standard' Cumulus web site.

After trying many different settings, I finally found one that worked. However, I will try your recommendations. My next step will be to upgrade to the current version. I wanted to get the old one transferred first and working before I changed the version. Many thanks to you for such a great version! www.grupefamily.com/weather
