Hi Steve or anyone else.

I thinking of uploading my data to Weather Underground, but my question is because most of the time I do not run Cumulus 24/7 (which is something I do not want to do) would I have too many gaps on the catch up uploads if I used the catchup feature most of the time?
So assuming that the weather underground server can be reached sucessfully then is it correct that I should not get too much of a gap in the upload?

Thanks for any help with this.

You shouldn't get any gaps, as long as the server can be reached and accepts all of the updates. During 'catch up', Cumulus attempts to upload to WU each entry it has downloaded from the station's logger.

Thanks Steve for your answer. I just wanted to be sure about it as I will need to rely on the catch up to report useful readings on the WU.

And thanks for the catch up feature. I would not be able to upload to WU without the catch up.

I have set it up and it did the catch up from the logger and did not miss any of the 160 records uploaded.

It is here: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... QUEENSL195
