 Post subject: Rain Data Problems

Hi Everyone:

I have a National Geographic Touch Screen system, I'm running Windows 7 today I had a major crash with my rain data I got some of the Highs reset to 0 but I can not fiqure out how to get "The Last 24 HRS.; This Months; This years totals, corrected to read the correct amountsthe 24 Hrs. should rea 0 not 0.07 the This Months should read 0.81 not 0.88 and the Year total should read 2.17 not 2.24 I have gone over the help section and do not understand how to fix this is there someone that could simplify this even more for me.

The monthly and annual totals are calculated from the daily totals in dayfile.txt. Correct the daily totals using the dayfile.txt editor on the edit menu, and then restart Cumulus.

The last 24 hour rainfall figure is calculated from the 'total rainfall counter' figures read from the station. If you want to correct it, you'll need to edit your current monthly log to change the earlier figures. The figure is the simply the value supplied by the station, so you'll need to find the figure that the station is currently sending (i.e. in the latest entry) and set the values in the previous entries to the same figure. Do this with Cumulus stopped.
