Occasionally (and a bit more often than I'd like) Cumulus or my weather station stuffs up and I get hours or sometimes days of rubbish data before I notice or can fix the issue, which will sometimes give me a new monthly, yearly or all-time record that otherwise wouldn't have occurred. e.g. Say it loses connection for more than 24 h and as a result I get a temperature of 21 degrees all day, which gives me a new record for low temperature variation of 0 degrees for that day.
Can there be a facility in the edit records pages to search for records excluding a date range, ie, so I can find what the record used to be ( as in before the day of error) and manually edit it to fix it up?

All changes to the all-time records are logged to alltimelog.txt, so you could search in there (it's the reason the file exists). For the others, if you have long periods of duff data, why aren't you editing them out of the logs, and then the built-in editors can find the correct values? If you want the editors to be able to ignore sections of data, why not take them out anyway?

Edit: alternatively, are the backup files not any use? Or do you restart Cumulus more than ten times before you notice the problem?
