System: Davis Vantage Vue with IP logger, Dynamic DNS using a LAN connection to a 3G Router from where the data is sent to my Webserver located elsewhere

I have an intermittent problem with communication which is due to that the 3G Connection used ever so often drops. I have selected the 'Restart if data stops' in the station settings but as the connection can be gone sometimes for a few hours it does not seem to help. Cumulus then ends up with an error stating that it cannot initialize the connection from which it does not seem to recover.

Are there a way or any setting where Cumulus would poll the connection and resume it when it comes available?

Nothing that I can think of, sorry. Perhaps you could use something like Startwatch.
