Just started using Cumulus and the steel gauges. Very nice look. I have everything working but I would like to tweak a couple of things and I have no idea how to do it. I was able to customize the appearance of cumulus by editing the css. How do I alter the my location bar, heading and menu bar at the bottom to stay centered regardless of how the browser screen is sized? Ideally, I would like it to be the size of my background image at all times. Looked around the site and could not find an answer.

Re: Location bar, menu bar at full screen
Its because you have them in <div>'s with a class="content", the weather.css needs the div's to have an id="content"

Okay, forgive the html newbiness, but I did not edit anything in the Cumulus css other than text and background colors. Are you saying I need to change "class" to "id" ?
Thanks for the quick reply.

Re: Location bar, menu bar at full screen
Actually, looking at this I think I have cocked things up a bit.
A better course of action would be to edit "gauges-ss.css" and add the following section...
I changed the div to a 'class' on the gauge-ss page because there is more than one 'content' div, and it is bad practice to have two elements or more with the same ID. But the default weatherstyle.css only has css code for the id='content' not a class name of content. As this is specific to the gauges page, best to make the amendment to the gauges css file.
A better course of action would be to edit "gauges-ss.css" and add the following section...
Code: Select all
.content {
padding-right: 10%;
padding-left: 10%;
margin-right: 15%;
margin-left: 15%;
}
