Max Indicator on Solar Gauge- V2.2.2

Post by faa440 »

Hi Mark,
I have Version 2.2.2 up and running and notice that on my solar gauge, the red dial indicator marking the maximum value for the day will reset to the current indicator needle every time I access or refresh the web page. My wind and rain indicators will lock to their daily maximums, but the solar indicator does not. I have made modifications the gauges.htm and gauges.js files so maybe this is a problem I introduced. Love these gauges and I appreciate you looking into this.

I don't have access to my normal machine at the moment, but iirc 'todays solar max' isn't available to set the max indicator. So I think you must have enabled this yourself? Without a value to set it to it will adopt the highest reading for your current browsing session.

Following your lead, I found that the ‘today’s solar max’ alias/webtag wasn't present in “realtimegaugesT.txt”. By adding the term
,"SolarTM":"<#solarTH>"
to "realtimegaugesT.txt", the maximum daily indicator on the solar gauge now appears to be working properly. Thanks

Ah good, glad you got to the bottom of it. I may add that to the standard release, though I do adopt the convention of making the Jason property name the same as the Cumulus tag name - so solarTH in this case
