I asked and I got: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/91.238.164.174

That was it. :(

I'd ask to be moved to another ip address by the hosting company. They obviously have some bad actors on that shared host.

Also report the issue to the hoster so maybe they can remove the accounts that are causing the abuse. I agree with Stuart: ask them to port your site to another server with a different IP address or consider changing hoster to one that cares more about bad actors tarnishing others on the shared webhost.

I've operated my own VPS servers for multiple years now, so I know there's no bad-actors sharing my IP address :D

I sent my host the nod to go ahead and changed the IP address last night, only to find that the script is now working, so it seems I am off of the blocklists.

Funny thing is, I got sent an invoice for a reoccurring £30 a year for a dedicated IP. I never even asked for one of those! :groan:

Thank you for the help! Much appreciated.

That's good to know, and I'm glad your new IP works and the data is flowing again.

I've joined the AbusePDB group and they've approved me as a submitter.. I'll be able to investigate issues directly (and report new IPs I find).
