Yours looks like mine before I changed it so it might also work for you.
thank you!

a question for mcrossley

Into the file steelseries.js I read code about Odometer, is there a way to enable odometer on dominant wind rose gauge?
I added in HTML

Code: Select all

<canvas id="odoGauge" width="90" height="30" style="position:absolute; left:678px; top:180px;"></canvas>

with no success

Thank You

Not in this version, there is no code to drive the windrun odometer. I wanted to get this release out and did not want to go through another test cycle. So a candidate for version 2.1 sometime in the New Year. :)

I used your odometer code in gauges.js (http://weather.wilmslowastro.com/gauges ... /gauges.js) and upgraded my gauges.js

Now I have windrun odometer up and running!

I see lot of code about odometer in steelseries.js that I think it is unused

It doesn't look like you are using the realtimegaugesT.txt from the package?

I updated my test page for the gauges and I also removed the test page replacing the old gauges with the new version. The gauges can be be found here: http://localweatherdata.0glo.com/gauges-ss.htm.

Mark thanks for all your work and also for making the radar plot available on the gauges page.

I see the problem, it is in windrose.js

at line 67 try adding the following...

Code: Select all

                // resize canvas on main page
                document.getElementById('canvas_rose').width = _gaugeSize;
                document.getElementById('canvas_rose').height = _gaugeSize;
so the whole if() statement looks like this...

Code: Select all

            // Get the context of the gauge canvas on the HTML page
            if ($('#canvas_rose').length) {
                _ctxRadarGauge = document.getElementById('canvas_rose').getContext('2d');
                // resize canvas on main page
                document.getElementById('canvas_rose').width = _gaugeSize;
                document.getElementById('canvas_rose').height = _gaugeSize;
            }
