Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
I would like to be a beta tester please. I have a Vantage Pro2 weather station and am preferring to interface to Raspbian or other NOOB OS's, depending on compatibility. I will be using a Raspberry Pi 2 board. I am a bit of a Linux expert.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
I would like to test out the new beta version if possible?
Davis Vantage Pro2.
Currently using XP but planning to reinstall the computer to Windows 7 SP1 x86 (.NET FW 4.5 required I think for Cumulus MX).
Might have a play on a Raspberry Pi too as we are currently using a dedicated classroom PC.
Thanks.
Chris.

Windows Vista has been really screwing up on my weather laptop, so I'm thinking of switching it over to Linux (Zorin OS) I'd be interested in beta testing Cumulus MX. Running a Davis Vantage Vue.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Hi Steve,
I am using Cumulus 1.9.4 for a few months now and I am very pleased with it, I also donated some amount for it.
I would like to test Cumulus MX if possible?
I live in Belgium (Flanders) and I use the Oregon WMR 200.
This week I messed up all my data because I had a anemometer malfunction, today I received my new one, installed it and start from scratch.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Hello Steve,
I'd like to test Cumulus MX. I'm using a Fine Offset WH2080 station with a Raspberry Pi 2 B running Raspbian.
I'd also plan to test with Windows 10 on the RPi.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi,
I have a Davis Vantage Vue and Mac OS X 10.10.3 (Yosemite).
Could I join the Cumulus MX Beta? I'm currently running Cumulus 1 in Oracle VirtualBox.
Best regards,
Stuart

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Sorry to everyone waiting patiently to start beta testing. I usually add a new batch after I've released a new build, but the latest build is taking some time as I'm adding some new facilities, and I'm rather busy with other things at home at the moment. Hopefully you won't have too much longer to wait.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Bit of a cheek, can anyone supply an sd card for the Rpi which would work with a Maplin station?

I'm too old and/or thick to sort it out.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
I am operating a 'closed' beta, so until such time as you have access to the beta, I would request that no-one supplies you with the software. Given what you say, it would probably be better for you to wait until the software is actually released, rather than joining the beta.winemart wrote:Bit of a cheek, can anyone supply an sd card for the Rpi which would work with a Maplin station?

I am an OS X user and I am looking forward to test Cumulus 3 (MX) on my Mac. Is there anyone who already has downloaded the software? I cannot find a place or link. Up to now I use Cumulus on my PC (Windows 8.1).
