Hi Steve (or anyone who can help)
I'm going to jump from CumulusMX 3030 to 3034. I've read the forum notes and don't see anything about jumping four revision levels. Is there a setting file I should backup and copy over to the 3034 version? What recommendations do you suggest I take to complete the upgrade without loosing my settings / configuration.
Thanks

Re: Upgrading
yes, copy over old version, but don't copy: data folder, cumulus.ini and web folder (if you've add/modify files on web folder)

Re: Upgrading
The distribution doesn't contain a Cumulus.ini file, that would not be a sensible thing for me to do, so you won't lose any settings. If you have modified any of the files that do come with the distribution, and you wish to keep your modifications, then you will need to take steps to make sure those files are not overwritten.

Re: Upgrading
Hello
Thanks for advice. The only two files I've modified are "Station Settings" and "Internet Settings". I can easily find the "stationsettings.html" + "internetsettings.html" files but this doesn't have any of the settings in them. Or would it be easier to delete 3030 and run with 3034 and make the changes to these two files via the interface?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Upgrading
I think you have misunderstood how Cumulus works. Station Settings and Internet Settings do not create files and they certainly do not hold the values in the HTML pages that are used to create the pages, the values are held in Cumulus.ini which is opened and read when Cumulus starts to check what settings you have set for your installation.
You have therefore NOT modified any web files or interface files and can close Cumulus MX with the CNTL + C and copy release 3034 over the top of release 3030 and restart Cumulus MX.
