Problem Whit Weather Station

Post by massi879 »

Hello, my names is Massimiliano, hi purchase 3 week ago a weather station Bresser 7002570 , but this station is incompatible whit all software .

I have a second station , Fine Offset WH3080 and i notice in usb devices spec this:

Station Fine Offset WH3080 have a :

VID_1941&PID_8021\5&10394ca8&0&1

Station Bresser :

VID_1941&PID_8021\CCLEL_c8488

Both stations have identical VID and PID but change something in the final, in my humble opinion with the appropriate modifications to cumulus you can have this station read (Bresser 7002570) without cumulus problems, because this station is not compatible with any other program in circulation, if someone can make me a verione for this station, or you can insert in cumulus I would be very grateful, you can also contact me via email.

Thanks.

It's not as simple as just matching the USB ID, the Fine Offsets are read by using a memory map. You would need to know the memory map for your device is the same, or if different what it is.

Ok, so if you want to enter this station, you should ask for information about the memory mapping from the manufacturer?

Yes, and good luck with that, for Fine Offset stations many people spent a lot of effort to reverse engineer the memory maps they use.
