Hi guys, an extremely long time since I last posted!

I've just got my Vue set back up and looking at hosting a site again, but can't remember my Weather for You account password to download the template files, and resetting my password doesn't work, I don't receive an email after requesting a new password and registrations for a new account are closed, maybe the servers down?

Does anyone have a copy of the original Blue v2 html template with images they could share, or a suggestion for other free simple to edit weather templates?

Thanks!

Jason

Hi Jason,
I have not used Weather Blues template but do have what I think are original template zip downloads which includes Images folder -
Weather_Blues_v1_2
weather_blues_v2_2b

Also Weather By You v3.0 zip which I think is the 6 themes.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi
I have since 2009 had a weather station and been a member of this forum. Now I have replaced my old worn out 'fine offset' with a Davids Vantage Vue. For that reason, I would like to replace my homemade program with Weather Blues _v1_2 (html). But at the moment it is not possible to become a member of 'Weather by You' ?? So if there is anyone who has a ZIP file of Weather Blues or Weather Sky and is so kind to send it/them to meI will be very thankfull. I am from Denmark so here is my mail adr. kurt@kjeldstroem.dk
My weather station can be seen here ftp.kjeldstrom.dk (not oe here)
Kind regards Kurt

Hi Kurt,
Looks like you are still using Cumulus v1.9.4 b1086 which is quite old and has been updated several times to the final v1.9.4 b1099-2 Patch. Upgrading may be useful. Or updating to CumulusMX will give you several more updates, changes, and features, including ss-gauges built-in rather than the extra install required for Cumulus1.

Enjoy WeatherBlues, and also look at the other templates now offered to use with Cumulus.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Paul
I am trying to use CumulusMX, but CMX will use port 1, but my station is on port 3.
In Cumulus.ini the serial port is on port 3. Where can I alter to port 3 ??
Best Regards Kurt

Hi Kurt,
From the CumulusMX Dashboard in Settings, Station, Davis connection, Serial port name. Change that to COM3.
Or, before you run CumulusMX.exe edit your \CumulusMX\Cumulus.ini under Station to

Code: Select all

[Station]
ComportName=COM3
Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Paul
Thank you, but as you can see in the Cumulus.ini file it should be port 3.

You need to remove

Code: Select all

Port=3
and replace it with

Code: Select all

ComportName=COM3
