Accessing GW1000 Local API

Post by Big Daddy »

I have a new project i am working on which is automatic watering of my plants depending on soil moisture.

Looking at using a couple of Ecowitt sensors but wouls like to access GW1000 local to retrieve data. I guess this is how CMX works for data but cant find anything on how to access it localy. I can use the Ecowitt API to get data from ecowitt.net but would prefer to keep it local.

The best I have read is that it uses HTTP POST but that is as much as I can find out.

Does anybody have any links to any documentation on how to get data from the GW1000 locally.

Thanks
Andy
