Today's rain has taken the annual total past last year's of 36.09" (917mm). 2015 total is likely to go before the end of October. And I would be surprised if the all-time total of 40.26" wasn't broken before 1 December.

I guess 3 of the top 4 wettest months explains why 2023 is my wettest year. It also shows October has consistently been my wettest month.

If November keeps this up it really is going to be a huge record year!! It has rained every day in November and I am now 5in+ over the previous record.

Today's rain courtesy of Storm Debi has pushed this year into second place for rainfall. Less than one inch now required to make it my wettest year since Istarted in May 2009.

My annual rainfall is now just 0.02” below the all-time record set in 2012. With more rain arriving overnight the record will go in the next 6 hours. What a miserable year it’s been.

Up to 1121.4 mm (44.15 inches) here.

A seriously wet first half to November. Another yellow rain warning out for tomorrow night in to Saturday.

It seems the south coast is the new Manchester! :D

0.02” as I write this so the 2012 record has been equalled.

Since Steve didn’t create a web tag for HighestAnnualRainfall I’ve manually adjusted my all-time record page to show the current annual rainfall.

I imagine the tag exists for MX. I guess many UK stations will have the light flashing during the remaining 45 days of this year.
