My personal weather website (weather.paulkiener.com)is no longer displaying. Instead, I get the 504 Gateway Time-out page. I also have a local site on a raspberry pi running modified Saratoga templates and am receiving the same error message.
I have checked both sites, and there is current data being uploaded from CumulusMX, which has been running on a raspberry pi without any problem. (CumulusMX is running on a separate raspberry pi; the local site for displaying local web pages is running on a different raspberry pi.) On my main internet server, I also have a MariaDB which is still receiving current realtime updates. Additionally, the CumulusMX dashboard is displaying current data.
Steps I have done after determining that data from CumulusMX is still being uploaded: (1) stopped and restarted CumuluxMX (Version 3.28.6- Build 3283 21-March-2024); (2) rebooted the raspberry pi running CumulusMX; (3) recopied Version 3.28.6 files. I am still unable to view my personal weather site.
My first thought is that there is something wrong with the web server, but that would not explain why my local raspberry pi is also not displaying the pages. My personal web page is displaying pages normally, except for the weather pages. I even attempted to view the wxstatus.php page, but received the same 504 Gateway Time-out page.
I have also reached out to my web provider (tsoHost) in case I have missed something there.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have also attached a log file which may also help. Thank you in advance.
Paul

Re: 504 Gateway Time-out page
Hi,
and updates are ok https://www.paulkiener.com/Saratoga/realtime.txt
The MXdiags shows an error
If you are using the upload.php method then possibly you may need to change the Destination filename path for tempdata.json in Extra web files settings,
Enjoy,
Paul
Your sites https://www.paulkiener.com/ and https://www.paulkiener.com/Saratoga/index.php both display and seem to be current. My personal weather website (weather.paulkiener.com)is no longer displaying. Re: 504 Gateway Time-out page
Thank you, PaulMy, for the quick response. Evidently, there must have been something wrong with the web site and the help ticket to them corrected the problem. Both my web site and the local sites are now working. I have not heard back from the hosting service, but would be interested as to what was happening.
Thanks to all for the airtime!

Hi guys, you know what’s interesting I also got the same 504 error message a few days actually 2 times now. I contacted my hosting which is MDDhosting and they this to say below about it.
SOmething is changing the site files from within your account. FIles are being changed nothing in our server logs beyond posts and gets to an upload.php. They even said my index page had been removed.

Re: 504 Gateway Time-out page
Adrianwx23, thanks for the info! Interesting. I wondered if my files, specifically the "index.php" file was missing. I used Filezilla to take a look at my files, and the "index.php" file was present as well as all the other files. I also noted that numerous files were being updated with current data.
I still have not heard back from my site provider, but I'm glad that my site is back up and running.
