I have attached a diags file for 24th April. There was a gap between 17.06 and 22.13. Also how do I fix the PHP lack of permission to write to the public_html/Reports folder?

How do I fix the error that the PHP user does not have permission to write the public_html/Reports folder?

I have included the diags file for 24th April when there was at least one gap between 17.06 and 22.13.

Albert

The 'loss' of data in the log :

does seem odd! Is there some process running on your Windows system that could suspend operation of CMX (and other applications)? Also the log indicates an FTP log was generated. It may be useful to look at that pls

Hi

Unfortunately, I do not know where to find the FTP log. If you can tell me, I will send it. I tried reinstalling Windows, but that did not solve the problem.

the cumulus ftp log is usually in the mxdiags folder, if not search for it. your original logfile gives you the name of the ftplog.

Code: Select all

FTP-20240425-102030.txt

I searched for the file and my msdiags file says 'Create FTP log' but I cannot find it.

It looks like the computer is going to sleep. Albert, you need to alter the Windows power settings to prevent the computer from sleeping/hibernating.

Thanks Mark. Seems to have fixed that problem. All that is left now is to fix the Reports. I keep getting the message "Error, duplicate entry in dayfile for 18/04/2024". When editing the dayfile, there is only one entry for that date not a duplicate, however there is NO entry for 20th April. I would appreciate further advice re this problem.

Albert

Hi,
If your dayfile is now OK except for missing April 20 you can run the CreateMissing utility to add that date.

Going to your https://redanweather.com/Reports/NOAAYR2024.txt gets "Error, duplicate entry in dayfile for 18/04/2024"
And https://redanweather.com/Reports/NOAAYR2023.txt" Error, duplicate entry in dayfile for 2/02/2023"
This is likely that your dayfile had the duplicate day(s) when the NOAA reports were created and uploaded to your webserver.
Is it the same for your local Dashboard > Reports > NOAA Year Report for both years?

If dayfile is now ok then I suggest in local Dashboard > Reports > NOAA Year Reports you (Re)Generate both year 2023 and 2024, and also for the NOAA Month Reports for Feb 2023, then manually FTP these (Re)generated reports from D:\Cumulus\Reports\ to your webserver to replace the incorrect files.

Enjoy,
Paul
