Re: Crikey!!
My webcam is near my bird feeder, so I get some strange photos too.
The first is a house finch aerobraking as he approaches the feeder. Almost looks like a F-14 with his wings swept back!
The second was when the wind was gusting to about 45 mph, and a rock dove got tumbled almost inverted in the turbulence.

Yep, I use Wunderground.

I'm in Avon, NC, on Hatteras Island about six miles north of Cape Hatteras. The camera is looking NW over the Pamlico Sound. I've only had it up for a couple of weeks. I was inspired to put it up by the posts I saw here!

Re: Crikey!!
What's the nickname for Victorians? We can't really call you Mexicans as you're East of our border!
We just refer to you as the other state that plays real footy!

Shall I set up a section of the forum for the upcoming series? I might have to close it quickly if we start losing, though

Re: Crikey!!
Depends on what colour ball and how many overs they are playing.steve wrote:Now cricket, that's a real sporthills wrote:We just refer to you as the other state that plays real footy!
Anyway - real cricket has 8 balls to the over! (They had to drop it back to 6 in 1979/80 'cos the poms had trouble counting on two hands - 6 balls only needs the thumb, four fingers and a closed fist )
Punctuation is the difference between 'Let's eat, grandma' and 'Let's eat grandma'
