Twitter are again changing their API to make it even harder for third-party applications to access Twitter. They announced this yesterday, and they are giving affected application developers until the end of the month to make the required changes to their code.
If I understand correctly, the change does not affect Cumulus, as it does not access Direct Messages. So Cumulus should carry on working as usual after the end of the month. As it happens, I am away for a week at the end of the month, so if something does go wrong and it stops working, I won't be able to do anything about it until I return.
