Spiders surfing the web

Post by JohnDon »

Hi all
I have finally but my web cam up and it is well out of reach. 20 feet up a pole and a spider has decided to take up home on the glass and keeps running across the camera. Its an axis 221 so there are no infrared lights on it. Any suggestions how to keep spiders away from the camera.

I don't have spider trouble with the webcams but we do with the security camera (with IR) that's almost always covered with a web and we see spiders quite often too in the IR light. I'd like to know how to repel spiders too.

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.
