I know no better ! so will ask the question.
Will Cumulus work on an Ipad, and with an NY96G (Maplin) plugged in.
Just a thought as thinking of buying an Ipad.
Thanks Ian

Re: Ipad Cumulus
No it only works on Windows Operating Systems, and also I don't think Ipad's come with a USB connection only the proprietary Apple connector.

Re: Ipad Cumulus
If you have a Windows machine running Cumulus and a website, then you could get an Android tablet and use the Cumulus Realtime app.
I'm not sure if there's an app for Ipad as I'm not a fan of Apple products, although I guess you could view the web page with a browser.
The Cumulus Realtime app is nicely optimized for a smaller screen. (Thanks, Joe!)

Re: Ipad Cumulus
The only app that I found that works with Cumulus on IOS is Under the Weather. Its not a bad app, but only has a fraction of the functionality that the Android app has.

But he was asking if Cumulus itself would run on an Ipad not an App that uses data from a Cumulus website.Charlie wrote:If you have a Windows machine running Cumulus and a website, then you could get an Android tablet and use the Cumulus Realtime app.

I understand that, and it is not possible.water01 wrote:But he was asking if Cumulus itself would run on an Ipad not an App that uses data from a Cumulus website.Charlie wrote:If you have a Windows machine running Cumulus and a website, then you could get an Android tablet and use the Cumulus Realtime app.

Some of us, however, want to check the weather while sitting on the couch and using a tablet, or while travelling.
It's not native Cumulus, but it's still useful, and worthy of a mention to the tablet aficionados.
