Yes, I was at work at the time, but the high tide mark was half way up our drive when I came home. Across the road they had it lapping at their front door - luckily it didn't go any higher.RayProudfoot wrote: I noticed your rainfall last evening Mark. Sounds like everyone was very lucky. Had it continued for another 15 mins lots of you may have been ringing insurance companies.

Not an all-time record, but my highest recorded June temperature today, and the highest of this year so far - 20.6C. That's hot for here, it's not often that the temperature goes over 20C.
Glorious sunshine and just a gentle breeze, so we're having a barbie!

Re: New Record? Post here.
I had three new monthly records for June but not all-time ones. Those are getting quite rare after over 7 years.
June 2016 broke three rainfall records. Wettest with 6.11" (155.2mm), 11 consecutive wet days and 0.60" (15.24mm) in one hour

Re: New Record? Post here.
All my heat records have been broken, max temp, dew point, app temp etc.. but then i have only had this station running 137 days.
29.9°C was the highest I had recorded since having a station though, back in 2013.

Re: New Record? Post here.
Well sort of a record... when I did my morning update to CoCoRaHS at 9:00 am
Yesterday's high was 25.4°
My overnight low was 23.5°
My then current temp was 24.4°
The range of 1.9° is I think a 24 hour record even though it is not on the same calendar day.
A bit uncomfortable overnight, and today getting quite hot!

“It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately.”

Re: New Record? Post here.
I'll report "not a record" i had 32.1 °C today, 0.4 °C below my July and all time record of 32.5 °C on 01 Jul 2015.
It was still hot though, almost embarrassing the amount I was sweating on the train this afternoon after waiting on the platform in full sun for 10 mins in work clothes. Ewww!

Re: New Record? Post here.
Same here. An 'almost' new record. Max of 31.9°C just failed to beat 32.1°C in July 2015.
I did have a new all-time of Heat Index of 34.9°C but I don't show that on my pages.
It was just as hot in Anglesey (day trip yesterday) as Cheadle Hulme. Being near the coast seemed to count for little.

Re: New Record? Post here.
New record of 32.9 here. Comfortably beat the 30.8 set in 2009. I only recorded 28.3 last year (30th June).
Record high minimum too - 19.2, which was over a degree warmer than the previous record.

Re: New Record? Post here.
A new all-time record for this station yesterday morning. Highest Minimum of 20.2°C beating the previous record of 20.0.
I had to edit my data to record this as the temperature last evening dropped below 20.2 thereby wiping it out.
Stations where the day ends at 09:00 don't have this problem but those ending at midnight do.

I've just spotted the same on mine after looking at your post, Ray.RayProudfoot wrote:A new all-time record for this station yesterday morning. Highest Minimum of 20.2°C beating the previous record of 20.0.

I have edited all my records, but I guess I can't edit the my SQL monthly database, because the top10s.php still shows the old record as being number 1; ie it also uses midnight to midnight?
I also presume, setting 9am to 9am would muck up all the logged data?
