WMR968N Com Port Settings?

I am trying to get my WMR968N working with Cumulus but currently receive no data on the main screen. I have set the Com Port to '1' which is my only com port on this PC.

Do I need to specify baud rates etc in Windows for this com port?

Cumulus assumes 9600, 8-N-1, so you could try that, but normally it 'just works' for me (I've had my WMR928 console connected recently). If you open up the debug window you should be able to see any data that's being read.

Also make certain you have mains power as the COM port is inactive when using batteries only. If you receive a beep and the backlight activates on the Oregon console when you tap the screen - mains you are receiving mains power.
