Amazing what you can do with a simple script.

Talk about anything that doesn't fit elsewhere - PLEASE don't put Cumulus queries in here!

What started with a basic take images ftd'ed and upload using sunrise/sunset cumulus tags has now expanded to :
Actually taking the images direct of camera.
Add weather over lays.
Setting the contrast, IR, motion zone, schedule on camera.
Creating hourly, daily, sunrise time lapse.
Uploading videos to site.
Creating a archive of images and videos.
Create videos for YouTube uploads.
Sunrise images taken on sunrise for slides.
Site backup
System backup.
Email notifications for system events.
SMS notifications for critical system events.
Upload motion to Google drive.
Motion detection.
Lightning detection.
And probary a few more I've forgotten...

All this on a poor old1.6GH atom netbook..

Well done. Not sure I'd call that a simple script tho.

A man with a thermometer always knows the temperature. A man with two thermometers, not so sure.

It started SIMPLE......
But I can't take 100% of the credit, some members from this forum really helped especially with the sunrise/sunset part of the script.
