Cold winter

It's a cold winter her in Scandinavia this year, very cold.

My station recorded 47 days in a row with temperature under 0, 0 C. Today, for the first time since 28: e December the temp is ABOVE +/- 0. (Just now +0, 5 C). That's just amazing; I have never experienced a winter like this.

Over here in Scotland we are catching your cold weather too; around the end of December I had some crazy low temperatures and very prolonged cold spell of about 24 days -- it did go above 0 a few times by a degree or two at the most so not as impressive as yours

I think it is fair to say this winter will be one to remember in Europe

We have had this cold weather since 13: e December, some short periods with plus temperature. But in general, minus and very cold winds from the northeast.

My station had an average temperature of -9,2 degrees in January and -6,8 degrees so far in February. No extreme values, it can be much colder. But it is the coldest winter in 23 years.
