Graphic gauges for displaying weatherdata

Post by weatherc »

Hi guys!

I have now released a package with graphic gauges for displaying weatherdata. See attached image.

They works totally standalone and are therefore useable on all possible templates and softwares because they don't read any datafiles by itself. They are called like normal images with needed data added directly to the url, therefore is only requirent to have that data available in a variable from ex. a clientraw-file.

For more info, visit the project-page here.

:D

I'm impressed, and this looks very promising. I've been unable to get the graphs to update, though, using Cumulus and its own realtime.txt file (the graphs are there; they aren't reflecting any data. )

In the strings such as graphic/temp.php?current=<? echo $realtime[3]; ?>&trend=<? echo $realtime[143]; ?>" alt=""/,
are the numbers within brackets (like [3] and [143] in the example above) representing data fields in clientraw.txt (that would then need to be changed to reflect the appropriate field within realtime.txt)?

Thanks!

As it is on is just a test page !!
I used Henkkas graphics and scripts on http://www.nordicweather.net/index.php?sivu=95
and pintos script
https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/download/file.php?id=136
with some small changes.

It seems that its not possible to upload a php file so
I have to make a ziparchive with the file
testgauges.zip

I think perhaps your server doesn't recognise the shorthand PHP tag "<?" - try changing them to "<?php"
